Guess Who

divider

As we all know, gospel singers travel a lot of miles and apparently,
some of us get bored from time to time. This beautiful rendition of
“God Is Great, Good and Merciful” was left on my cell phone’s voice
mail not long ago by one of my fellow artists…see if you can guess
who the mystery singer is.

  5. Willa says:

I agree it is Michael Booth trying to imatate a girl
    trying to imatate Michael Booth.
I love it. Just too funny.

  6. Haley says:

I think Michael Booth. It would be just him to do something like that.

  7. Tim Duncan? Mike Allen? Tracy Stuffle?

Some of the falsetto sounds like a bass singer sounds when he’s faking the tenor part as part of an onstage skit.

  8. Terri says:

    That is SO Michael Booth!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Jess says:

Michael Booth. Why? He was fun on the plane back from Norway and I swore I heard this song while he was trying to find his ‘concert’ voice backstage last month(OK, maybe not).

  10. Lois says:

It’s got to be Michael Booth. He is the craziest!

  13. Peg Younce-Sowersby says:

I’m not sure, but whoever it is is crazy. That actually hurt a little. I don’t know anyone personally, but fun for you, Lauren.

  14. Michael McGibbon says:

Michael Booth and the Helium band. Without a doubt

  15. Sam Kerfoot says:

Well Lauren, That HAS to be Michael Booth, or Pee-Wee Herman has your cell phone number. Only Michael Booth would do something like that. I’m just glad there were no animals in the house when I played that. Some of the neighbor’s dogs might have started howling though. He sounded like he might have had the mother of all head colds when he recorded that. He could have been under the influence of NyQuil, which might explain why he left that on your cell phone. He’s kinda like Southern Gospel’s Forest Gump. Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get!:)

  16. Haley says:

LOL everyone is saying Michael Booth. Okay, so it HAS got to be Michael.

  17. Peggy says:

No-one but Michael Booth would do that . Anyone that would bring a white sheet to the stage (Gatlinburg Gathering) would do this .

  18. Kasey says:

I have to go with Michael Booth as well, but I cannot really tell for sure.

P.S. Lauren have you ever considered recording a cd with Kirk, I think it would be an excellent cd because you two sing beautifully together. Just an idea I have had for a while.

    Love and Prayers,
    Kasey

  19. Tammy says:

I have to agree with everybody and go with Michael Booth, if it was I hope he’s feeling better. ha ha

  20. Jacy Cunningham says:

I don’t know who it is , but my mom said, “I wonder what Simon from American Idol would have to say about it.”

  21. Jeffrey Mears says:

I couldn’t hear it that good but Mark Lawry is crazy enough to do it and it sound like the voice changed while doing it and I have heard him change his voice singing.

  22. Angie says:

Oh, he is too much! LOL! That is definitely Michael Booth! He must have had way too much time on his hands! Ronnie and Jim are going to have to keep him much busier so he won’t continue getting into mischief! All too funny! :-)

  23. Christy says:

Another vote for Michael Booth sittin’ right here! My dogs even got a kick out of it, cocking their heads from side to side! LOL

  24. louise thompson says:

  25. Odie says:

Michael Booth is a great suggestion. Or from what I have read things get crazy on the Crabb Revival bus sometimes. Could it be Adam or Micah?

  26. Jeff says:

It probably is Michael, and you know he is one guy I would want on my team. He is funny and serious at the same time. He is a good guy.

  27. Kathryn says:

Well, I certainly don’t know who it was but it’s nice to know (and be reminded) that we are ALL just humans doing our best to have some FUN in this crazy, mixed-up world we live in! LOL

  36. Lee Ann says:

    Hey Lauren,

I am Lee Ann and I saw you about 10 years ago. I am 29 years old and my mother had taken me to one of your concerts. My friend and I were talking and she had asked me if I knew who Lauren Talley was? I was like who? She gave me a video to watch of The Broken Ones and I messaged her back and said I know her! I saw her 10 years ago! I told her that your name didn’t ring a bell, but I never forget a face. You have grown up so much hun. Wow, I feel extremely old. lol. Have a great evening! God Bless.

    Sincerely,
    Lee Ann

  37. Elaine Harcourt says:

  44. louise thompson says:

How about you and roger do a cd?

  45. louise thompson says:

is it just me but has the tree-o family been to quiet!

  46. Sam Kerfoot says:

It has been awful quiet out in Talley land lately. I think our ring leaders are still letting us chew on the last question posted. Everybody’s waiting for Lauren to reveal to us who the Pee-Wee Herman impersonator is that left her that message.:) I think they’re afraid to get everybody going on the football thing again. It’s easy to get carried away on that one.

  47. louise thompson says:

but,it was a lively time! i miss it.

  48. Peggy says:

Come-on throw us a bone . We are so wanting to know.

  49. Hal says:

Sounds like Grandpa Jones.. but, who knows….but you!

  50. Brett Ehrman says:

    In His service,

    Brett Ehrman (ERM)

  51. Debbie says:

I think it sounds like Mark Lowry.

  52. Sam Kerfoot says:

Hey Lauren, Who are you guys picking out of the final four in the playoffs now that Indy and the Titans are out of it for the season? I’m sure you guys are catching tidbits of the games here and there between concerts since everything is pretty much happening on Sundays when you have to work.

  53. Martha says:

    Yooooooooooooohoooooooo! Lauren??? ;)

  54. Rachel Overton says:

Maybe she’s working on that new solo CD and forgot to tell us.

Next person to see them in concert, make sure you tell her we’re all hangin’ here! :-)

  55. louise thompson says:

  56. Roger Talley says:

Hi everyone, We are still awake and still here, haha. We have had a new post ready for several days with the big reveal:), but we’re having some technical difficulties getting it on here for you to see. Sorry for the delay. We have some exciting things going on and coming up soon. One tidbit I can give you– we have a brand new official website ready to be unveiled. It has so many new features, and we can’t wait for you to see it. If all goes well, it will go online tomorrow. The address is http://www.talleytrio.com/ SO check it out. It has all the dates for our 10 day “western tour which begins Friday 1/23 in Ft. Smith, AR. We hope to see many of you on this trip or somewhere very soon. Thanks for reading, posting, and “talking amongst yourselves” when we’re away. God Bless!!

  57. Sam Kerfoot says:

You guys had everyone wondering if everything was ok Roger. I was wondering myself. I was wondering if you might be in playoff mourning after the last Titans game. We’re all going through that in Maryland right now. Everybody seemed to be so somber at work today. Oh well, that’s how it goes. Come on NASCAR season! I regards to Louise’s question it’s 17 degrees here in Maryland right now according to Weatherbug. That’s pretty good compared to Saturday. It was colder than an Eskimo Pie here Saturday. It was minus 2 degrees when I left to go to work early Saturday. I actually didn’t make it to work. The cold finished off my Truck battery and I started having problems about 10 minutes from the house. I don’t think I ever remember it getting that cold in this part of Maryland before. We got some snow today.

  62. Jeff says:

I just checked out the new website. It is very very nice. Very easy to navigate, very user friendly, very easy on the eyes and brain. Just what I need. :) Thank You.

  63. Sam Kerfoot says:

I checked in on the website last night. It does look really nice. Whoever did it does a good job.

  64. Sam Kerfoot says:

I forgot something. Roger, I was flipping through the gallery and saw that photo of you with that frying pan the size of a manhole cover. That looked like enough food to feed a village. I hope you were sharing some of that with Debra or Lauren. KIDDING! :) I also saw the photo of you and Sue Dodge. I didn’t know you produced her work. My Sister Susan and Brother-in-law Tim are good friends with Sue and Amos. Tim is a Foursquare pastor also. I think Tim is in the same district as Amos.

  65. James Betts says:

You sang my favorite song Rock Of Ages Praise The Lamb, and it blessed my heart. My family used to sing but they are scattered around. Is there a chance ya’ll might come to Heber Springs,Ar.to give a concert?,because I want to sing a duet with you sometime?
My dad used to be music evangelists 18 plus years, and
I thank God for using him.

  66. I am a huge Talley Trio fan and supporter. I have
been blessed with the songs of Love and Faith that
you share with the world. I call all gospel singers
messengers of God. I am strengthened and blessing
each time you sing Testify which I love to do. I
pray God’s presence, safety and guidance with the
Talley Trio as you minister to the world through
song. God bless and be with you.
